Chris Guidone is one of the most talented marketing visionaries in the industry. For more than six years, Big Picture Tourism Consulting developed the strategic partnership between the New York State Department of Economic Development (I LOVE NY) and the Receptive Services Association of America. Chris was responsible for leveraging his long-term relationships with numerous inbound US tour operators and increasing their knowledge, and ultimately tour products, for statewide destinations seeking assistance with tourism development. He took initiative to grow this program through branding, international trade show representation, educational workshops for New York State Tourism Promotion Agencies, product development, familiarization trips for RSAA members and many other projects. Chris also coordinated a meeting between the states of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania to begin discussing collaborative international tourism marketing initiatives. He sees the “Big Picture” yet knows how to execute on a grass roots level.
